I rely on Greek yogurt for a lot of my protein.
Don't forget your body NEEDS some healthy fats, esp. to process all that protein.

First of all, welcome to SparkPeople!

Protein does help to make you feel fuller longer. That's great that you are getting the right a
Punts now, as protein also helps build muscle - and more muscle is a great thing.

Your breakfast sounds really yummy. If it works for you, keep going with it. My favorite is an oatmeal made with cinnamon, berries, fat free vanilla almond milk, and topped with Greek Yogurt for protein.

There is a whole breakfast area in SparkRecipes for some more great ideas.

Hi,
Let me first say that this is my first week of tracking my foods on "Spark". I have to admit that I am loving the feeling I get from eating enough PROTEIN :). I usually would really struggle to keep my food cravings down between meals. But this week I have really heaped up on the proteins and am feeling a sense of calm come over those cravings. My favorite breakfast has been a 3 egg white omlet with my choice of lite cheese (1 ounce) and a side of 2 kinds of either fruit or veggie. (garden sliced tomatoes are in season, and wonderful) also I love doing thinly sliced onion fried up to a crispy brown as a side... makes me feel like I'm cheating a bit. but hey! it's just ONION :). If anyone can offer some more HIGH PROTEIN ideas for breakfast I would love that. My hubby is eating what I put in front of him also, but he is not very good at planning, so a high protein quick idea for him would help. I
I love this "spark" I feel inside ..... and am excited to continue on my journey to shed these unwanted pounds.
