Hi ,

I love to read and crochet. I also write and I'm in the midst of trying to get a children's book published. I don't get out much and I have some health issues that keep me from exercising. I do try and lift my 3lb barbells a couple times a week. : ) I've lost 15.6 lbs. so far, but I guess I'm just a whiner and want it to me more. My husband lost 18 lbs in the same time. I wanted to keep up I guess. LOL

I crochet afghans and other things. I just finished two, one each for my two nieces. One is getting married at the end of Oct. I have probably made over 100 afghans, giving them as gifts to family newlyweds and Baby afghans for their children. I've entered many into county fairs and I enjoy doing that.

About God's truth....My husband and a couple of friends have studied the Bible for years and then studied the first 5 books of the Bible, and see a lot of truth in the fact that (in our humble opinions) the book of Genesis gives you all the information you need to live a Good God loving life. The rest of the books are examples of what happens when you steer away from God's laws. So we try to live by them and it sure does keep us out of trouble. : ) God is Good.

I've been on Pinterest but I just started getting into some of the searchings.

I hope we can share ideas about weight loss, crochet and God.
