Not a big deal, but one of my sons passed his dot physical. My fifteen year old son wanted me to pick up his new glasses without him,and insisted he didn't have to be there to pick them up. That made me smile too,but in a different way. He is going with me when we pick up the glasses.
Watching one of my daughters take great fall pictures, going out to eat with another daughter and one of my sons, and hearing that another daughter did well raising funds for a friend are three of the things that made me smile today.
Haven't smiled yet today (hey, it's still relatively early) but smiled A LOT on the bus ride home because I noticed a young man across the aisle from me smiling in response to something on his phone. It's true; smiling is infectious.
