My husband and I have been looking after his little sister since Tuesday while his mother is out of town. It's now Friday and the only thing I have found that she would eat was tacos. She is 9 years old and bursts into tears when it comes to eating. I have tried spaghetti, baked chicken nuggets, chili dogs, mac and cheese....the issue is, she will stare at it and just tell me it's not like what her mom makes, so she doesn't want to even try it. I understand she is missing her mom, I really get that, but I need her to EAT. Her mother just tells us to give her a cold hot dog or a can of tuna, but she turns her nose up to even that. Besides, I need actual DINNER ideas. So, any help, suggestions, ANYTHING would be appreciated right now. What are some healthy and super kid friendly meals that you feed your waaaay too picky eater? We have her until Wednesday. So lots of ideas are welcome.
