Breakfast foods would work good as long as you control your oil/butter say 1Tbsp and use portion control. Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatos with onion/peppers, pancakes. Fried cabbage is really good: 1 Tbsp butter melt in pan, add cut up cabbage, use dash salt pepper and sugar. Cook until fork tender but not mushy. It would go good with brauts. Then, there is spaghetti. I use browned ground turkey and bottled sauce. Chilli would work on stove top. Brown 1lb meat with chopped onion, 2Tbsp chilli powder 1Tbsp cummin 2 cans beans 1 can diced tomatos 1 can of tomato sauce. Tacos, I use turkey here too brown with chopped onions salt pepper chilli powder. All kinds of veggies can be cooked on stove in a little water and then season well. Soups, stews. Boil chicken until done, drain, debone shred with two forks add in 1 or 2 tbsp of barbque sauce for sandwich, or use chicken meat and make chicken salad with boiled egg, chopped onion/celery/pickle and a little salad dressing. Hope this helps to get you started but dont be afraid to create your own. Cooking is a personal thing, there is no right or wrong.
