You would have had to eat an extra 7000 calories in one day to gain that amount of weight. That is practically impossible!

It's probably water weight, or you're holding on to some mass in your gut (it takes time for those unlimited veggies to make it through your system!), and, if you're a girl, your hormonal cycle will affect water retention. I fluctuate up to 5 pounds in a single day (although usually only about 2) and only weigh about 120 lbs.

If you're worried about these types of minor weight gains over extremely short periods of time, I agree with the previous poster: Put the scale away! I'm the opposite: seeing those fluctuations throughout the week reminds me not to freak out just because I had a 'bad' weekly weigh-in.

I really don't think you can gain 2 pounds of fat in one day. Maybe it's due to a water weight gain or maybe muscle weight.

This is just my opinion, but it's not good to weight yourself everyday. Our weight fluctuates daily. Weigh yourself once a week on the same day, then check back in and let us know how you are doing.

I reached my true weight last week and therefore began Consolidation this week. I was scared to reintroduce all of the recommended food at the same time so I have been doing it slowly.
This week I mainly ate lean proteins not intentionally but it just happened that way. I also have added:

1. 4 tbs of oat bran daily ( I can't eat wheat)
2. 1/2-1/3 cup of blueberries mixed with cranberries
3. twice this week I had 1 tsp of olive oil
4. unlimited amount of veggies

I gained 2 lb the first day and this morning I am 4 lb up from my TW!!

Has anyone else had this problem??

I drink tons of water, green tea, exercise at least 60 min every day doing weights and cardio
