2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp sweet mustard/honey mustard
1 tsp spicy mustard
fresh ground pepper to taste

I put all of the above in an old jam jar, seal with lid and shake it up...works perfectly every time.

I make Good Seasons Italian dressing but don't' follow the lines on the container. I just put in balsamic or other vinegar half full, then I add as much water, then the packet, then a little olive oil to top it off. Tastes good to me.

I actually just saw this one last week on SparkPeople and tried it - it's my new go-to. Mix equal parts of:

balsmic vinegar
honey
prepared mustard (i like honey mustard, but you could use any kind)

It's really strong. I only use about 1 tsp on my salad and it coats very well - and only about 36 calories!!!

I love my salads..but I find it difficult to eat those babies with the purchased low fat , and by the way..pretty yucky, salad dressings. Does anyone have a decent low calorie dressing that is healthy and smacks of goodness? If you do..I would love to have that recipe.
