i used their meal plan to basically learn how to eat on a low calorie diet, to learn what is a good meal, that kind of stuff. We used their menus for about 2 weeks then branched off to doing our own foods.

Loosing my teeth does not bother me at all casue I am already the toothless wonder.
I lost my teeth as an aftermath of my rediation treatments from cancer.
I am cancer free now and my oncologist just discharged me this May, permanently cause I ma cured.
I don't miss animal products at all.
I love being vegan, and in today's world there are probably a lot more options.

I feel for you. I'm a "pescatarian" (fish, eggs, milk, cheese ok), so I can't imagine how hard the vegan lifestyle is. I became a vegetarian 32 years ago, not even eating fish. It was so hard then -- almost no veggie foods or soy foods were available in the supermarket. Food coops and "health food stores" had some things, but I had to make my own veggie burger mix and I lived on tempeh and tofu. After 18 months, while I was a silly college student and not attending enough to my nutrition, I developed a protein deficiency and almost lost my teeth. I added fish back in, and for some reason, have kept eating fish. It may be hypocritical, but eating fish just doesn't bother me the way eating meat does. But I respect and admire vegans, and I wish there were more options for you. Back in the day, my favorite cookbook was "Laurels Kitchen." I still make many of the recipes. They are wonderful, if labor intensive. Have you tried this cookbook?

I don't mind the break feasts so much, because I don't like a lot in the morning so they are basically pretty much right for me.
But the lunches and suppers are what burns my but, and what is even really unfair is that the carnivores got a Thanks giving meal plan for them.
but the vegans and vegetarians got The big 0 zip zilch.
I found vegan meal plans online and then I have a few vegan recipe books and between all of that I am doing OK, I have learned to saute with out any oil.
More than likely of I find another meal plan that give me the calories I won't need the spark meal plan.
But I have to at least stick to it partially until that happens.
thank you for your response

I do my own plans, as I was not satisfied with Spark vegan plans. They even don't fit my reality.

Is anyone going to ever create more of a variety of the meal plan for vegans?
Does Chef Megan know how to do vegan meals.
I know that there are a lot of recipes, but is there ever going too be a better variety, on the meal paln?

Chef Meg's Cheesy Grilled Banana Peppers
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

Cheese. Bacon. Tomatoes. Yum!
Chef Meg finds a slightly more sophisticated version of the hot pepper poppers found on appetizer menus everywhere. Her version uses mild banana peppers, creamy Gouda cheese, a bit of bacon for a smoky richness, and tomatoes to offer a bit of freshness. She grills them to add another layer of flavor to the dish.

Serve these as an appetizer or unexpected side dish at your next barbecue!

Chef Meg uses panko, or Japanese breadcrumbs in this recipe. You can substitute whatever breadcrumbs you have on hand. Full Recipe
