we live out in the country and about 2 mins away from a wilderness center. We live at this place. Its acres and acres of fun for my 3 sons. They have a duck pond you can feed the ducks but to get to it you have to walk. After we take our 5 to 6 mile walk in the wilderness we come to a play area that is designed for the kids to explore while moving about. I get to exercise they get to explore its a win,win for all

My boys are 6 & 7 and very active. I love to go to festivals with them and experience new places with them. They really get excited when we explore new areas. Because they are getting older way too fast, I really cherish our cuddle time. I know eventually they'll reach an age when they think they're too old for cuddle time.

we recently purchased a basketball net for the driveway, and I'm enjoying hanging out with my kids as well as playing basketball for the first time in over 20 years. (can't believe I'm old enough to say that, when did that happen?)
My 5 kids are all adults now. I love just spending time with them and now that they are adults we can do a lot of fun things together. This weekend we are all supporting my oldest son's senior box lacrosse team by playing in the team's fundraising poker tournament, we are going to all watch my middle son play lax on Sunday then go to an escape room and then out to a Brazilian steak house for dinner. It's the time together that is so much fun no matter what we are doing.

Even though my girls are getting a bit old for it, we all love reading bedtime stories together. We all squish together in one bed and read, a storybook for one and a chapter of a book for the other. The only downside is when they fall asleep in my bed.
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. Henry David Thoreau
We used to love going to the zoo. Now that they are both teenagers, it is a little more difficult to get them to do anything. My son is a 100% tried and true gamer. My daughter is hermit. She would just as soon be in her room, under a blanket, watching a good scary movie as anything else. It's hard when they get this age. I miss our time together, but also understand that this is the growing process and in 4 to 5 years, my daughter will be out on her own.
"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Now that my kids are adults we enjoy going to concerts with them. Travelling with them is a lot of fun too. My 3 boys (17, 19, 24) are into fitness so it's pretty cool to head to the "gym" with them and work-out.
