Good morning. I have a lot of weight to lose, about 100lbs. I am also extremely busy. I work full time (would rather work part-time), am married, have three amazing, busy children, and own a home which requires all the maintenance that goes along with owning a home. It is super difficult to plan healthy meals - in fact, it's hard to find time to do grocery shopping. In my life, my family and marriage (been married 18 yrs) comes first and always will, followed by other responsibilities, like work, that are necessary to provide necessities and opportunities for my children. Then comes maintaining the home (we do need to have clean bathrooms & floors, clothes after all). Lastly,of course, comes me. I don't sit down until between 8:30/9:00 each night. There is no extra time for very much. I am going to start out with 10-20 minutes of exercise squeezed in somewhere each day and go from there.
I would really love to have a SparkPeople lifestyle buddy or buddies who are in similar, relatable circumstances to mine who I can strategize with, share ideas with, talk about frustrations and how to overcome them, and share motivations with. Communicating electronically at the end of each day would work best for me. I am heading into this SparkPeople journey with serious intentions and am seeking the same.
