I , too am a widow. 11 years ago, now. I, too am a returning member to Spark People. I have about 50 lbs. to lose to reach a healthy weight.
This time I did things differently. i joined Spark Coach who's helped me to change my mindset. We all know less cals in & more cals out = weight loss, but it's what's broken inside that needs fixing before we can do that. Our mindset. Spark Coach & small challenges, support of the community here & NEVER giving up this time is making this time different.
Good luck. I wish you well on your journey. Remember it doesn't have to happen in a day. If you lost a pound a week you'd be down almost a full pants size in 8 weeks, instead of up. Do it the way that's best for you .
