I am 45, and just moved outside the city with my bf. I would like to lose about 15 lbs. My parents are divorced and in their late 70s/80s and I am the only one here to take care of them.
My dad is in a retirement home and I try to visit him once a week or so. My mom is currently in the hospital and will be moving to an assisted living facility and I try to visit/take her out a couple of times a week. As well as checking in on her home once a week. They both live in the city but do not drive.
I am struggling with finding time to fit in workouts and plan healthy meals. Also, when I take my parents out it is usually for a meal or something where it is hard to get something healthy. I always try to fit in visits to them when I am in the city like after work or something but then I always get home late and too tired to exercise or prepare a healthy lunch or anything.
On top of all that I try to fit in my personal things, errands, paying bills, hobbies, seeing friends, whatever.
Any advice how to manage all of this, lose a few pounds, and keep my sanity? And oh yeah, get a good night's rest and see my bf once in awhile!
