Hi everyone!
I just had my gastric sleeve surgery one week ago, conversion from a Realize band that had eroded, so I am looking for any and all advice. I am still at the point where my belly is painful and I'm nauseous a lot of the time. Were there any foods that you remember being easy to tolerate and/or easy to prepare in the beginning? It all seems a bit overwhelming right now.
Thanks so much!!

It will take some time, There are time now when I over eat, or eat to fast, to big of bits. You have a major change to your stomach, give it time to heal. It will happen. As the dr for something to help the sick feeling. I think I was at the 2 months out when I was not getting sick every time I ate.

Hi everyone, newbie here... I had my sleeve on July 24th 2012 .... I am at a stall right now, but I know it's just a little bump I am going to have to climb. before I would give up, not now, I have been through to much to stop now. .

I had my surgery on 11/5 and after two weeks and about 20 lbs I came to a dead stop for three weeks. I did some research and found out it is super normal to have a stall somewhere in week 3-6. As soon as my stall was over it kicked back into gear and in three weeks I have lost another 20lbs. Since your post is from about three weeks ago I will bet you have started losing again. Best of luck! Just stick through it. Think of your body as going into shock and stabilizing before it releases more weight.

I had my VSG on 10/5 and initially lost 32lbs. However, in the past 4 weeks, I haven't lost 1 single lb. I am still doing everything they tell me. Eating is going well. I still manage to get in about 4 oz. per meal. Sometimes 5 oz. I am struggling with getting in all my protein and water. Some days better than others. I keep hearing about 'stalls' that people have where they aren't losing anything. The Dr. says weightloss doesn't really take off until about 90 days out. Is anybody else having issues with this? Is this common? What am I doing wrong?
