Gym for the real thing. I'd never do it at home. I do walks and bicycle riding from home.

Both I have some free weights and a DDP yoga dvd I do if I am too tired to go to the gym.

However, I do get a much better workout when I to the gym

I hit the gym a couple times a week and the pool a few times. Other than that I try to exercise at home and even do some sets of pushups at the office when I'm the only one in throughout the day.

Check out my Swimming Fitness group for great pool workouts and other low impact alternatives to running

I signed up for the gym here at work.. It's a big campus and there's a gym with good rates for employees... I get my pass tomorrow. Very excited about that!

I'm really disappointed in myself for my home exercise efforts - despite my best intentions I stay up later at night than I planned, and am often too tired in the morning to exercise... I'll still have to get up early to get to the gym before work but hopefully I can make this a more successful weight loss effort than before.

Of course, it's been a really long winter here too - which has kept me from running outside. In the summer this is my main cardio event, and it's kept the weight off. Not so much over the winter though, it's been depressing as a result.

I love the treadmill and since I don't own one of those anymore I look forward to the gym membership for that alone, but I know I'll also make good use of the other equipment available

I mostly workout at home, but I do go to the gym about once a week to play basketball with friends. Around here you can just pay for a day-card that they punch at the desk, it works out to $2 a day. I would rather lift weights at my house while watching tv or doing chores, then go for a run throughout my neighborhood.

Little of both. I go to the gym (for which I pay only $11 per month) three times per week for cardio and strength training, and I workout on my Cyclops bike trainer three days per week. When the weather is good in Minnesota, this changes because I exercise outside as much as possible.

We have a Planet Fitness. It's ten bucks a month for a 24 hr. gym. Not that I'm hocking gym memberships, but if you have one, it's very reasonably priced.

The long-term pleasure of being in shape far outweighs the short-term pleasure of eating things that are detrimental to your health.

I was wonder how many train at home vs. the gym. I have a gym membership, but I train at home 95% of the time.
