of course it was exercise.

The best kind of workout: functional fitness.

Ahhh good to know, and I like that general farm work one - that covers a lot of my weekend activity.

thanks!

If you wear a heart monitor with a calorie counter then you will know how much walking and lifting is actually helping you.

You could also look at it as walking fast or gardening.

I would count it as heavy house work, or general farm work. Those are my goto entries in times such as this.

There is no bad food, only bad cooks.

Last night I played my first show with the rock band - to a huge crowd.
It was a great success and lots of fun. Between hauling equipment up and down stairs and playing 2 one hour sets, I lost 5 pounds - oh, and having no food in the apartment helped!

Too bad I can't count this as actual exercise somehow, maybe aerobic for the playing part, and something for the equipment hauling parts... I don't know, but it sure was a quick and easy way to drop a few pounds...
