I've mainly had short hair in life, I just do better with short hair in Halle Berry's style. Never had issues with men liking me since I have red hair and green eyes and confidence. I would love to have long hair but I'm lazy when it comes to fussing much~
"If a person wants to be a part of your life, they will make an obvious effort to do so. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay."
"Your happiness is up to you. Whatever happened in your life to make you who you are up until this point is irrelevant. It is your responsibility now to take control and change your life to be what you want it to be. Energy and persistence conquer all things. Make time, not excuses."

Just as an estimate I would guess that 95% of girls look better with hair that is at least past their jaw line. With that said, the hair is not something that is a factor with me as I have dated girls with long and short (shaved up the back type) hair.
Your hair is part of you though, you can choose how you wear it just like the clothes on your back. It should be a preview of your personality...
However, as a general rule I tend to find longer hair on women more attractive. Still, short works fine on Morena Baccarin (who also looks great with long hair), Judi Dench, Janine Turner or Halle Berry. Hayden Panettiere's short style looks good, though it's not really the full up "short all over" deal.
I don't know about where you live, but around here certain short hairstyles on women are definitely a component of a massive "LESBO" sign. Not that there's a problem with that.
Why do you ask? Because really, you shouldn't be doing something because men (in general) dig it. Find a man that likes you either way, then consider catering to what he likes best. If he says either way is fine, then do whichever you prefer. Don't weigh it down with some load of second-guessing emotional crap, because that men really DO dislike.

I'm curious too! I have shoulder length hair. It used to be longer but I've had it cut recently, now it's just a little longer than my shoulder. But I can't do anything with it anymore, I just have to let it free. I can't bun it and it doesn't look good in a pony tail.
While I love my new cut, I just miss bunning it and putting it up!
I was curious what everyone's preference or thoughts are for hair length on a woman. I have shorter hair and have had for about 5 years. I am in the process of letting it grow for more versatility and something different. For me my hair is easy and cute, some guys just don't like the shortness or think its not feminine. I am fine no matter what and was curious about others opinions. When I say short for my hair the longest parts are about 1-2 inches away from my chin and then slightly shorter in the back.
