It's not uncommon during heavy squats and deadlifts to get lightheaded and some people even pass out (yikes!). Some suggestions I've encountered and executed are:
1) Make sure you are well hydrated before your workout
2) Do fewer reps (less than 10, especially for deads)
3) Do deads/squats a little more frequently (and maybe less intensely) to get your body acclimated with this type of load
4) Take a second to pause, breathe and reset after each rep. Don't hold your breath throughout the entire set or through several reps.
