Not yet. Between working out and losing weight hopefully I will meet it in the middle.

Back when I weighed 210 I could bench max 305

Now that I'm down to 170 that went down to 265, but even with the loss of muscle I'm in so much better shape now. Hoping to lose another 10 pounds and then work on gaining my muscle back once I start eating more

I'm 5'8" stinks being shorter
Summer 2011- 215 lbs. Peak weight
Christmas 2011- 200 lbs
Start of summer 2012- 170 lbs

Fighting weights (Same day weigh ins)-
New Breed Lightweight (159) 8/4/12
weighed in at: 155
IBJJF Featherweight (150) 9/15/12
weighed in at: 148
Naga Featherweight (149) 12/1/12
weighed in at: 148

Goal is to maintain around 152. This leaves me in easy cutting range of featherweight.

Not hardly at 334 lbs, but I can bench 225 lbs for 6-7 reps on a good day. I turn 65 in June, my goal is to do 12 reps. I have shoulder problems etc, etc, etc, my point is that you set a goal and just work for it.

I have calcification in my AC joint (part of the shoulder), and unless something happens (like I get the surgery) I won't be bench pressing again, military or incline presses either. So this is where my training life really starts to get interesting, I guess.

OK, I finally crossed this threshold. Considering the bench is my weakest lift, I'm pretty happy about this accomplishment. Took a long time.

Yep, I use to lift a lot in High School, right now i weight 304 and i can bench 315lbs a few times but I've maybe hit the bench five times in the past five years.

I bet now that I'm a man and have become tougher, if i started training again i could probably do 400, 500, etc... but i don't want to be a big block-head, i want to get lean and athletic looking, kind've like a sprinter or running back.

Even as a big boi in high school i could run the 40 yard dash in 4.8s @ 255lbs, I'm part mexican/spanish/israelian/white, O_o, so somewhere in there i was blessed with good athletic genetics.

Bench has always been my weakest lift, but I'm working on it. I think I'm close. I weigh 175-180 most days and my 1 rep max is 170. I hope to exceed that this year.

Deadlifts are a different story. I can deadlift 300.

I went to the gym this morning and after a couple hours of basketball I figured I would see what I could do for the bench press. I weighed in at 180lbs fully dressed so I started off with 160lbs, did that 5 times so I bumped it up to 170 lbs, did that 5 times so I went for 180 lbs and I did that 5 times. So I know now I can do my weight, but just being curious I went up to 190 lbs and I could only do that one 3 times...lol. So I guess I need to get back on weight lifting if that is what I can do without lifting for a few years...lol

Not anymore! After we had our first child, I couldn't get to the gym. I was too tired to get up at 4:30p with waking up 2x-3x's a night.

Before she was born, I was up to repping 235 5 times. I'm guessing now I could get close.
I THINK I could get 185 once after an 8 mo layoff. Hope to be back at that point in a month or two, it should come back fairly fast.

No, but I should get this on my goal list. I better be able to by the time I reach my target weight.

I use to be able to but lately I have stopped weight lifting for cardio and leaning out. I am down to 182 lbs so I should be able to do that no problem. I got to go to the gym tomorrow anyways, I might see if there is an open bench and give it a shot...lol

Probably. I know I used to bench more than my current when I was younger.
I do 180 20 reps pretty easy.I dont have anyone nearby strong enough to spot me with 250lbs right now.
