No eats as it starts after last meal.

Listening to the game on the radio actually allows time for cleaning the garage, walking the dogs, typing here, and other things.

I treat eating during a game just like I do eating any other day. I eat my 3 regular meals a day and 1 snack between each meal.

If a meal happens to fall during a game, I make sure to portion it out just like I would regularly, leave the kitchen, and eat it while watching the game. Once the food is gone, it's gone, don't go back for seconds, unless of course your seconds is more vegetables or salad :)

If you are a fan of wings.....

Cook a chicken breast. Cut it into strips. Heat up a pan, toss the chicken strips with some Franks Hot Sauce. Get em all good and coated with the sauce. Tastes just like wings without the fat. You could even add a few blue cheese crumbles (not the dressing) for the flavor. Celery sticks are a given and they are freebies.

I only eat during a game if it is time for a meal.
I do not snack during a game.
I do drink water during a game.
A beer would be better.
But to many calories!!

Yeah, I hit up the pretzels today but saw that they're pretty high in carbs (obviously) so I was just looking for other options. I don't know why I "have" to have something while watching sports but I watch a lot of sports so I guess it's a behavior I have to fix and fast.

Good Question.

I found some fairly lo cal pretzel rods and eat peanuts out of the small little packages taking time to eat very slowly. I do allow myself to go slightly over on Sundays but am careful with a light breakfast portein shake/apple and one regular meal during the afternoon. I also budget a couple of light beers but didn't have one today.

So Sunday is horrible for the eating right routine, simply because it's just a day full of football.

I have the urge to eat but I know it's only because I'm watching games and it's frankly just a habit. But now I know I can't indulge like I used to (we're talking pizza, chips with cheese sauce, sandwiches, whatever else i felt like).

So I'm looking for ideas as to what you guys munch on while watching the game. I got my water bottle going so drinks aren't a problem, just the snacking.
