1.5 miles Monday through Thursday with a walking buddy at work (we have opposite Fridays off so do not walk on Fridays...at least with each other). This was the first week of walking...MAN my legs (shins and hip joints) are giving me "what for!" However, the overall the accomplishment of not only meeting but exceeding my original cardio goal (Mon/Wed/Fri) makes for a great feeling!

Three weeks into this life change and am happy that I am actually taking action rather than just planning to take action.

I walk my dogs first thing in the morning, typically 1.8 miles. I walk the dogs at lunch time, usually 1.2 miles. Then when I get home, depending on my mood and how the day was, I will either run or walk 1-3 miles.
