I'm going to try the double workouts suggested in The 21 Day Fix. I did the first round, all three weeks but didn't do the last week with the double workouts, I just kept it to one each day. I'm hoping for even better results this time through.

I went for early morning walk. I'm going to do some of those resistance emoticon band stretches Coach Nicole featured. I got a kink in my neck and shoulders, hopefully that will work that out.

Not sure - still trying to figure out the correct amount of exercise and type of exercise. Most work days - I walk 30 minutes at lunch. Also go to a gym 3-4 days a week. Gym rountine - elliptical trainer set at hill intervals for 16 minutes with 5 minute warm up then do 10 minutes of cycling. Goal is to start adding minutes to hill interval until I get to 30.

I'm going to try the Eliptical for 20 minutes...I have tried it before and could only do a little over 10 which is hard to understand because I can do 40 on treadmill and I walk for 50 minutes over lunch everyday. Legs start to hurt after 10, but probably just need to get used to using those different muscles I guess.... emoticon

I just signed up for my first road race! Running 4 miles up and over a 2-mile long bridge! Perhaps not the smartest decision for someone with an irrational fear of heights...and bridges... fingers crossed all goes well!

I also just graduated the Couch 2 5K program and ran my first 5k in 34 minutes (doesn't sound like a big deal but I couldn't even handle the 1 min walks 9 weeks ago!)

Next on to the 10K!

I have osteoarthritis in my right knee and spine so can't walk long or stand very long. So I do something called sit and step. It mimics walking in place while I sit and I also sit and do a mini cycle. For a temporary goal I think I'm going to try wall push ups

I have tried Insanity and I can get down on the floor but I can't get back up by myself. Ha!Ha!

Could someone tell me what DDP Yoga is?

I just watched a segment on CBS this morning about how all the sitting we do is harmful. I asked my DH to rig up a shelf on our treadmill so I can do some sparking while walking instead of sitting on the couch.
