Maybe try a recommendation from a physiotherapist or exersise therapist/occupational therapist? They might have a better idea about a good trainer, rather than your standard walk-in gym. (In my personal experience, I had an initial first trainer who was fabulous....then the gym switched me over to one of the standard trainers and he was a dud.)
