I would agree that it's part of your daily activity since you are doing it every day and shouldn't typically be added to your calorie burned amount as exercise. Also, I doubt that there are studies done for calories burned for that activity.

Can you please add 'Mucking out stalls' to the list of fitness activities? I have two donkeys and muck twice a day. I saw on another website that it was calculated at 92 calories per stall. It's harder than raking, but not quite as hard as shoveling snow, I think.
