My kids are about the same age, and honestly, the most fun "exercising" at that age is playing. We ride bikes, play tag, play dodgeball, and horse around at the playground. (They also do tae kwon do, so they get more formal exercise in their classes, but the play is plenty for them to maintain an active lifestyle at home.)
