Not according to my insurance - they won't pay for ANY doctor regarding that. They want the other party to pay for it (I was at a store)

insurance does not pay for physical therapy unless there is an accident

Hi Snakemommy

Have you talked to your doctor about the possibility of physical therapy? A PT would be able to design a set of exercises specific to your needs to help you regain strength. It wouldn't be safe for us to try and give advice about what kinds of exercises you can do based on your medical history and back injury.

Yes, focus on your diet for weight loss. And I think there's a group for limited mobility fitness support. : )

Weight loss is 80% nutrition, so this is great time to focus on what and how much you eat!

Google "chair exercises" and you will get loads of ideas there.

18 months ago I was able to exercise w/ no problem. Then I had a bad reaction to a vaccine. 5 days after I received it, I was UN ABLE to walk. I was biking 15 miles, walking 5 - to not even able to stand.

I need to get this weight off - big time. I am tired of feeling like a giant cow. Insurance won't pay for the treatment I need for this issue (10k a month)

I have been working at getting my strength back. A year ago I was walking 2 miles (with a walker) but then I had a slip n fall and damaged 3 discs in my back and 2 in my neck.

Now I can barely stand for 10 minutes. I have a Wii Fit U, Just Dance 1 and 2, and Country Dance. I try to do those when I have the strength/energy. I feel like a failure.

I want to try and have another baby but I really don't want to at my weight.

Can anyone help with SIMPLE exercise ideas. Any sitting down ones? Any tips to strengthen my legs?
