I've done Shaun T's Insanity. That program is awesome and truly insane. The jumps they do...jeesh! I drop a total of 17 inches over my body in 2 months last year (and gained most of it back when I stopped due to boredom. Now I am losing what I gained and then have to lose more to hit my goal!). I have not tried the T25 yet.

I get bored easily, so I like to mix it up. My all time go-to is Billy Blank's Tae Bo Ultimate Bootcamp. I've been doing that for about 6 years now. I burn close to 600 calories in 55 minutes of working out to that. Denise Austin is always a good staple. She is the ultimate pro! Currently, I've been doing Walk at Home with Leslie Sansone (I find myself grinning when I do her workouts. She has great energy and spirit and I sweat a lot!) and Super SlimDown: Pilates Yoga Blend with Ellen Barrett. She's awesome. I have about 4 of her pilates DVDs. She is the pilates guru.

I have seen some of my friends doing the new (or newish?) T25 DVDs, and their results are amazing. I was totally pessimistic, until I starting seeing their results, but now that I have I am about to start.

Super excited! Has anyone done the T25 or is currently doing it? I'd love some T25 friends or some motivation. I'm excited and hoping my results are similar to those I've seen. Shaun seems pretty intense, but nonetheless I'm still excited. I figure I can do just about anything for only 25 minutes.

If anyone else is interested in starting these with me, message me to let me know :)

I've always loved The Firm workout videos. I've been doing them off and on since the mid to late 1980s. That 'guaranteed results in 10 workouts' is no lie!

currently I'm taking boot camp & Tabata classes at the gym, so my home DVD workouts are Pilates. Over the years, I've found 3 Pilates workouts that I absolutely love:

One of my favorite things about this DVD is that it has 4 'mix and match' workouts. When you start the DVD, you select which of the workouts you want to do, and it will play them straight thru. Great for fitting a workout in the time you have - I don't have to FF or stop before the end of the routine.

I love anything by Jillian Michaels or Jackie Warner...I like to get everything done with quickly and have little down time. I have the Bob Harper DVDs but they are too long to keep my attention.
I just picked up Hip Hop Abs but it will be a while before I start them.

I really enjoy Hip Hop Abs or Rockin Body by Shaun T. If I don't feel like doing either of those. I will hook up the WII and play Just Dance 2014 and burn some calories that way! All of three of these are fun!

Zumba is not for everyone. I've got knee problems as well.

If you're for actual classes, Masala Bhangra Workout, if modified, is somewhat more forgiving on the knees. Thousands of aging East Indian ladies doing this class can't be wrong ...

You CAN get Masala Bhangra on dvd; it's just that it's kind of tough to fulfill its workout space requirements (this dvd is based on traveling dance moves, and not the improvisable doubling-back [to make up for lack of space in which to move] kind, either)

I have a Biggest Loser last chance workout DVD that's great at kicking my butt. However, I haven't used it in a few years. When I want to workout to a video now I find some on here. Easier to track, plus I can mix up different videos, into one big well-rounded workout. Once you have some favorites saved it's quicker than playing a DVD too.

Plus I have more equipment to work with now, and the only equipment on the DVD is dumbbells. Still a great workout, but I like to vary things.

Edit to add: There is one DVD, well, DVD program thing I would try, and that's the Brazilian Butt Lift. My bum is a real problem area for me, and it'd be nice to have a set program for toning that up over a certain amount of time. Unfortunately it's really expensive, so I doubt I'll fork the money out anytime soon.

Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away The Pounds" is always a go-to, aerobic/power walking, exercise dvd BUT I also LOVE Violet Zaki's "Cardio Sculpt".

SharQui-The Belly Dance Workout, Bethenny's Skinnygirl Workout; and most of the ones put out by Hemalayaa in Bollywood dance-based workouts ...

Anything else is less-attended-to, for a BIG reason ... one of the reasons being in that I formulated my own yoga pilates fusion practice on mp3

Don't ask! You get to a point where the videos temporarily do not challenge your muscles enough, unless your flexibility and agility improve quickly over time ... I hadn't ever been there, and my body doesn't work that way ... my flexibility is barely a correlate to the strength of the muscle but more to my skeletal constraints ....
