Like others have said, Polar seems to be the best one out there.
I've had several Polars over the years. The only reason I replaced them was because my needs have changed. I am currently using the Polar RCX5 but that is because I do brick/triathlon training and that one lets me go from one activity to another without having to stop and restart the watch.
The great thing about Polar is that they have HRM's for every budget. When you do get one make sure it counts calories. Polar does make a model that only tracks heart rate. Also, Polar is one of the very few, if only, HRMs that will work in water (great if you want to track calories burned while swimming).
If I had any complaints about Polar it's that the heart rate sensor does not last nearly as long as the watch. Over the years I've had to replace the sensor a few times, which can be expensive.

Yes the Polar makes good stuff and I think they were the 1st company out with heart rate monitors. Not to date myself but I remember one I had from the 80's where you touched a finger to a sensor on a watch to check your heart rate.
When exercising you have to just keep moving one foot at a time.
Hello Sparkers!! I currently own a Spark Activity Tracker (which I LOVE!!), but I was looking into purchasing a HRM to wear as well. I am open to any and all recommendations that any of you may have. I have looked into the Polar watches that come with the band, and they seem pretty accurate, according to the reviews. Thank you all in advance!
