Have you checked the internet ? I did a quick search and came up with a REALLY fun 5k in Cincinnati called the Bad Prom 5k. Shoot, I'd do that one in a heartbeat if I lived in the area.

You can also check this listing for a 5K that you think might be fun.

I've done a bunch of 5ks for fun. My St Patrick's Day 5k is next week. Most of the 5Ks I've run had a $35 registration fee plus handling charge that made the cost $38.50. I don't know if 5ks are cheaper in your area, but figure on paying at least $30+ with fees. Keeping in mind, that your entrance fee probably benefits a local charity.

All of the 5ks I've done benefited local charities. So, I didn't mind paying the registration fee.
And you don't have to run a 5K, many races have options to walk too. You could do a walk/run combo if you didn't feel you were ready to run the whole 3.1 miles. Mostly, 5ks are for fun !

I made a NYR to do a 5K this year. I've not started training so I probably wouldn't be ready to try one until the end of May or so. Does anyone know of a fairly easy, ie little to no big hills, and cheaper, $30 or less, in the Cinci/NKY area.
