I track both. I have set up "groupings" of strength training exercises I do regularly, so the tracking is easy. I only had to enter my usual upper body, lower body and core workouts once, then if I need to, I can tweak after the fact. I just like to see it there, a solid record of what I have done.
I think it can be hard to stick to something that you feel you aren't getting full credit for. On this basis, you should be tracking strength training.
But I get that it can be fiddly and time consuming to track each individual exercise. As other have noted, you can just track the time as generic strength training.
Another alternative if you follow a regular work is to create a grouping (one of the tabs just above the search box in the fitness tracker). This allows you to add a regular series of exercises to your tracker with just one click.

If I do a Spark strength training video, I'll track it using the "track calories burned" button at the bottom of the video. Otherwise, I use a generic "strength training" category I created & negligible calories, like a pp mentioned. I want the fitness minutes, for a Team I'm on (where we keep up with that stuff).

I find it really time consuming to track all my weight training. But I find it useful to be able to look back and see what I have done. :/ I just hired a personal trainer and he's keeping track of most of it...but I have to admit, I want my fitness spark points

I track my strength training for the sake of fitness minutes, but I just use a generic entry I created called "strength training" and add a negligible amount of calories burned. So if I do 30 minutes of it, I'll enter 30 minutes and say I burned 30 calories.
If I entered every individual strength exercise I did I would spend more time doing data entry than actual exercising!

I just track my cardio, but I notice a lot of people track strength training. I may just be too lazy, but there's so many components to tracking strength training (weight, sets, reps, machines, basic movements, advanced). I think, scratch that, I know I would lose motivation if I had to track all of that 3 times a week.
