I am still going Dana!! Started Beta this week. I also started 30 day arm and abs challenge. I have an event I am working for and because of laziness I am not how I want to look so I'm going to really push these next 30 days!!
I haven't really lost more weight but my pants are bigger and I can do 10(!!!) real push ups! They aren't all the way to the floor but I'm thrilled...I don't know the last time I could do them!!!

Week 4 day 5. Did double day with focus 1.0 and Stretch. Ran 3.8 miles this morning. Going to do Turtle Trot 5K tomorrow. Where is the rest of the team are you guys still doing Focus T25???? emoticon emoticon

emoticon GIZZMOEDDY. I am not following the nutrition plan,just trying to eat whole foods and healthy foods.I do not have the pedometer yet,but I am going to buy one. I had to google calorie burn for T25. I don't know how accurate it is and I don't worry about it that much as long as I press play. I also saw some topics about the tracker under fitness and exercise board. Hope this was helpful. emoticon emoticon .

Ok so I know you guys are a few weeks ahead of me, but do you mind if I join in on the motivation wagon lol? I am on day 3, I am also doing my own nutrition ( having a husband and two lil boys to feed the meal plan for the program does not work for me ) anyway .. I am having a really hard time( even with the spark pedometer, as It does not seem to track right) does anyone have any idea how many calories you burn during the workouts? I bought mine used off E-bay so I do not have a beach body account...

So after getting off track during my trip last week (too much bad food and alcohol) I came back and decided to restart at week 2. I was active last week but I didn't get a chance to do any strength training. Finished week 2 and day 3 today. Feel good and I can follow along about 80% of the time without going to the modifier.

Welcome BiscuitandPenny!! I"m on week 4 of Alpha, but going to start over on Alpha week 2, because of illness. If you feel like you are doing a lot of modification I would stick with Alpha until you are rarely using the modifier. emoticon emoticon

Thanks for asking... I am probably going to have to take a break right now because I just got worse all over again - I don't know if the same cold just came back because I wasn't totally better or if I got something else. I just think the best thing is to let myself focus on getting over this completely (less stress on the body and extra sleep, etc)...hoping that won't be too long from now! This is such a bummer because I was really having fun...I know I can start back up again, but it is sad that getting sick has derailed me so much! I am going to keep up with this thread though! emoticon

I'm new to spark but on the final day of week 4. I have poor balance so some of the moves I have to modify the modifier haha. I like it alot. I don't know if I should repeat Alpha or move on to Beta until I can Alpha without the modifier. Any thoughts? I think my body is used to the cardio, so am thinking I may do the Beta and see what happens! Total Body Circuit is tough. Planks= Tough.

Taking the week off because I'm out of town for work and my hotel room just doesn't have the space. I do have a Fitbit though and I'm walking so much I hit 10k steps by noon so at least I'm staying active. Starting up week 4 next Monday. Hopefully I'm active enough this week I can just pick up where I left off.

I've only been doing this every other day because of the coughing it is causing so once I'm not coughing so much I'm going to restart yet again. Earlier in the week I felt like my cold was coming back all over again. :( Very disappointed that this cold has caused such a delay
As a side note, my first 5k was today and my goal was to just run the whole thing, which I did! My time was 35:18. Since I finished I have felt like I'm hacking up a lung! But it was fun and I'm sure I will sign up for more!

Hope everyone feels better over the weekend. Aside from sore knees I've been lucky to stay relatively healthy.

Started over as well! Week 1 day 1 cardio done! emoticon I did the best I could and gave it my all (which I could tell wasn't as good as if I hadn't been still getting over the nasty cough I have lingering but what are you going to do). I was sweating my butt off by the end. It did cause me to cough a decent amount during the workout and more after I was done. But it felt great to get back at it!

I started over with Week 1 after being sick for a week!! I am able to do most of the workout without following the modifier!! I hate sweating outside but i love feeling sweat drip off of me during a workout!

I could totally see someone jumping and landing wrong with some of those moves! Crossing my fingers doing the modifier will give your knee a break and it feels better.

I landed funny on one of the jumps last Friday on the double day and it's not super painful but I get little twinges of pain when going up and down stairs and when I get up after sitting for a while and it hurt more after this morning. Like I said, I hope if I do the low impact for a couple of days it will improve. I'll have to take a break if it doesn't feel better but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

JLINNEA, my knees have been bothering me too. I assumed it was from all the repeated bending and jumping. Ordered new pair of aerobic tennis shoes,they had good reviews from people who did a lot Zumba and other classes. We will see. Week 3 day one done. emoticon

Week 3 day 1 done!

Tweaked my knee at some point last week and it's feeling sore and stiff after today's workout. I'm going to try following the modifier the next few days and see if that hopefully helps because I really don't want to start over. It's a little disappointing because I was finally getting to the point where I could follow along without the modifier and now I have to go back, but I know I have to be careful not to make it any worse.

I'm starting tomorrow. Going to try to walk today.
Tomorrow I take my little man back to dr for a follow up but i don't have school tomorrow so I can get t25 in!! Excited to get started again.

Way to go! I haven't taken my measurements, but Think I'm at the same weight still. I figure it can't hurt to start over... When do you think you'll begin again? emoticon

I got in another brisk walk today...contemplating trying a run a little later. My 5k is in less than a week and I am totally not ready now because of getting sick! I don't think there is any way I will be able to run it all with the nasty cough I still have.

I would think if it's only a few days you should be able to pick up where you left off, but if it's more than a week that you wind up missing, start over with week 1.

i got worse and started throwing up yesterday so still not able to do my T25...and I totally want to do my workouts! The moment I feel better and can start exercising again I am getting back to this! Haven't decided if I'm starting over with week 1 or from where I left off when I got sick. What do you guys think is best?

Week 3 completed! I have lost a total of 0.6lbs and 8.75"!!! I actually gained this week but lost 4" lol. Remember keep an eye on that tape measure and take pics because the scale doesn't always show the real picture.

Can't believe this is my last week! emoticon 10 weeks flew!

Week 2 day 2 done. Also went to the doctor this morning and my blood pressure was lower and my lung capacity higher (I have asthma).

I love this program!!

Week 3 Day 1 done. I really didn't want to workout, but I just made myself do it!
The scale was up this week, but inches were down. The scale is now back down too. Muscle is denser than fat remember.

Jlinnea, when I was gone and didn't have access to DVD player I found a YouTube video of the workout I needed. It wasn't the best but it worked. Maybe you can spend some time looking on YouTube before you go. If not, I would just try to do something to burn the same amount of calories!!
I am now down with strep throat and feel absolutely awful!! Yesterday I walked 5 miles but today I am doing nothing but sleeping. Hoping to be back up and going tomorrow but we will see!!
Keep going everyone...we can do this!!

Week 2 Day 1 complete.

So a quick question to this that have been doing this longer. I have a business trip to New Orleans during what will be week 4 for me. I will have my iPad with me but I do not know if I will have access to a DVD player. Should I just try to stay active that week (the hotel does have a pool and a fitness room) and pick up where I left off when I get home? I'm trying to figure out how best to manage this while I'm out of town.

Hi new member, emoticon . In your box you should have a calendar that says Alpha week one. Hang this up where you can view it and start week one day one (Cardio). Follow along the best you can, some moves are challenging,but there is a modifier. You will do a different CD daily, Friday is double day. Let us know if you have other questions.

Thanks! My cold is really making itself known today, but I am going to try and work through it because I don't want to go too many days without exercise

The scale went up a pound for me too on my first weigh in after week 1. Then it went back down to a pound less than what I originally started at. I have lost inches though. So I hope you guys start seeing the scale go down as well as inches lost!

Did a workout today. I've missed the last 2 days. I've had 2 kiddos with strep, 1 kiddo with a nasty ear infection, then hubby came home from trip with fever. I have had very little sleep and the thought of working out made me cry! Last night I finally slept and I took the day off of work so felt like exercising!!
I've kind of been in a slump lately. Scale hasn't moved for a couple if weeks and inches aren't changing either. But I keep pushing play...the results will come eventually, right?

Focus T25 is with Shaun T - a beachbody program. 25 minute workouts. In my opinion,they are tough and you work hard for the full 25 minutes...no breaks. I'm enjoying it so far! There is also a modifier in each workout.
