Low impact such as the elliptical, exercise bike, lite resistance such as resistance bands and stability ball exercises, walking, swimming, low weight dumb bells and stretching.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

Thanks, Jen. My Doctor is thrilled and simply says "Do what you are able to do." I guess that's about the best advice.

Hello

You'll want to talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program to see what they recommend. You might see if seated workouts like those found here would be options for you:

Another option could be water exercise, which is a great activity that would not put any pressure on your ankles.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

I have moderate to severe COPD and arthritis in both ankles. I know how important it is to exercise, but feel limited in my ability. Any exercise/fitness suggestions would sure be appreciated.
