I'm going on three years wearing my BodyMedia monitor. I have not had any problems with it at all. It was a great investment for me. I was so, happy when Sparkpeople became on of their 3rd party site, and I was able to link my nutrition to BodyMedia. It made that process so easy. I love all the data that you receive from monitor.

I had a Bodymedia device and the first one cracked I guess because I sleep on my left side. Te second one I got was smaller and it would slide off my arm and not track all of my activity and I suspect that it was not tracking my sleep properly. So I switched to a Spark Tracker.

I have BodyMedia and I love it! I personally haven't had any skin reactions but also try to keep it clean. It is quite easy to sync, too. There's a way to do it within their website. And As for sending things I track in SP, like food, I just click a button on the nutrition tracker "Send to BodyMedia".
It does feed activitity minutes to SP but I delete it because I track only intended exercise, not just activity.
There is a fee after the initial trial (3 months, if memory serves). You can pay monthly or annually. I currently pay $6.95 a month but the information I receive is worth it.

I was looking at the Biggest Loser website this morning and found that the monitor they use is BodyMedia. I have done some research and found that it is pretty well liked and I am into the gadgets thing, honestly. Money has also became not a problem anymore. I noticed at the bottom of the page for the bands that SP is listed. Anybody used this? Is it easy to sync with SP?
