Its certainly No fun getting to Gym at 5:30, but I agree that the days I do workout, I have a lot of energy. Its hard to get out, especially when the sub zero temps are brutal, but I know that as I get older I want to stay in better shape.

Its hard but I generally get up at 4:30-5 am to start my workout. I may be tired but I know if its not first on my list it won't get done. Besides the TV gets hogged by my family once their up and I use it to workout so I have to do it when I can. I'm determined to be a healthier me this year and beyond.
Anything you dream is possible with determination, delayed gratification, and a goal.

It sounds counter-intuitive but I have waaay more energy on days that I workout vs days that I don't. It's not easy dragging my butt in the morning but not being completely drained when I come home in the evening is worth it.

1. the fact that I have literally NO other time in the day to work out except for 6 am. 2. the fact that I hate being unfit more than I like sleeping and my warm bed. 3. the fact that marathons suck a whole lot if you aren't properly trained (see #1)

I really need to workout in the morning, but am having trouble finding the motivation to get up earlier. I have two little ones that wake me at night and so when the alarm clock sounds at 5 am, I am over the idea of a morning workout! I want to spend my evenings with the kids though, so I need to find a way to make mornings work.
Any ideas or suggestions? What gets you up and moving?
