I just looked at a FitBit on amazon. That is beyond my budget. Maybe that's why mine never work. They're cheap knockoffs. Lol!

I have used them from time to time, more of a novelty for me, I mostly judge my walking by minutes, not steps emoticon

I LOVE (*dramatic*) my Fitbit! Really keeps me accountable throughout the day emoticon

I believe in myself, I am a strong woman. I will reach my goals, NOTHING & NOBODY will hold me down. I will live my life with integrity and intention. I will set a good example for my daughters and my son. I will be a woman that makes my grand children proud when they look at pictures of me long after I've left this earth.

I have a fitbit and I have found it to be accurate and very motivating. I definitely strive to meet my monthly step goal.

I just started wearing my pedometer everyday and I do between 6,000 and 15,000 steps a day and at night record how many steps I did. I also work at desk job too. I think the pedometer give us that motivation to keep going. Well Good luck with you fitness goals. Kam

That is exactly what I have to do - this desk job has been the devil in disguise for me - I guess the key is to move during the day as much as I can. Thanks for sharing!

I used to wear one. Now I know I am much more active. I walk much more. I park the furthest , when I carpool, I arrive at kids school and get out of my car and walk as many times as I can around the school. The looks I get from many, you would think that I was insane, But I look at how I am now healthy and they are sitting. Any chance I get to move, I take it! At work I set my phone to get up every 30min ,leave my desk and walk around, if No one is there looking, I even March in place ..Good Luck

I like a pedometer or some sort of activity tracker. I don't have a ton of faith in their accuracy. However, I do find that I make more of an effort if I have a gizmo watching me.

I was just going to ask the same thing. I've had pedometers, but they never seem to accurately count steps. I'll put it on and walk across the room and look at it. 54 steps. Fifty-four. Across the room. Not really accurate.

Am i just getting cheap ones? I wear it on my hip, like it recommends. And i'd really like to start tracking my steps. Ideas?

I don't know if I consider myself fit or not, but I use a pedometer. It helps to hold me accountable

To all of you fit and exercise loving members out there - would you recommend a pedometer?
