While it's true you can't spot-reduce, you can make your legs look good by developing those muscles. I have found that stairs and walking up hills is great for my thighs. When I stopped for a couple of months, they got flabby again, but walking up stairs and walking hills or on an incline on the treadmill -- great for the thighs!

LAURIEANDBLUE2K: You lost weight in your thighs because that was where you were genetically predisposed to losing it... you would have lost it no matter what kind of exercise you did. Targeting specific areas through exercise doesn't reduce fat there.

I agree with the other posters - burning fat is an all-body process, and you can't target where you lose weight from. Energy is delivered to the muscles via the bloodstream, NOT from being absorbed from surrounding fat stores. Thigh exercises will develop the thigh muscles, but will do absolutely nothing about the overlying layer of fat.
What you can do is to continue to reduce your overall body fat through a combination of cardio, all-body strength training and watching your intake, and some of it will naturally come off the thighs.

There really isn't anything that you can do to reduce your thighs only. You can reduce fat over your body but spot reducing doesn't work. I find that if my legs have some muscle on them they look better, so I do squats and lunges it helps to firm and tone but doesn't really make them smaller.
