I do a lot of yoga and love the feeling of bare feet on the mat, I am taking it gradually, and find that I am more mindful in bare feet, great to hear that you have been doing bare footed walking for several years

While I certainly agree that you should build up gradually ...

I have been "walking with Leslie" regularly for several years barefoot. I never wear shoes in my house (just socks and/or slippers) and I do all of my DVD's at home barefoot. So far, after about 6 years, I have had no problems with it

Thank you, I will not be walking outside, just inside on my yoga mat.

I would slowly build up the amount of time you're walking barefoot, instead of going from one mile to five miles all at once. It's not bad to go without shoes, but you need to progress up gradually to give your feet time to adapt.

Hello everyone,

just wondering if it is ok to do Leslie Sansone '5 mile fat burning walk DVD?' in bare footed on a yoga mat? I have only done one mile

Thank you for your advice
