I am pretty sedentary at work and at home. My job involved sitting, pretty much all day, and at home I study, so I sit for hours.
I do 60+ minutes of fitness every day. I go for walks on my work breaks, and I have been doing P90X. On my "off day" for fitness, I take a spin class.
So when I am calculating my BMR, what option do I choose? The choices I run across are typically things like:
sedentary, light exercise
moderately active, light exercise
You get the idea. Someone I work with said that because I "only" get 60 to 75 minutes of fitness a day, and because I sit on my rear end for the rest of the day, that I would still be considered sedentary, lightly active.
Any input is appreciated! Thanks.
