I am a newbie here and need some guidance. Perhaps you can give me a hand. Tje headline says it all. I have some medical issues that prevents me from doing alot of things and don't know where to start really. I need to build some routine to begin a new journey, finding the real me.
I live in snow country so alot of outdoor walking is out. Plus driving on slippery roads scares the dickens outta me. Thus mall walking is short lived. I do have daily dogs that get a walked. Just not every day by me. Reason being ... I use a walker to get around. It's kinda hard maneuvering that Cadillac in inclement weather ... if ya get my drift.
So, I'm stuck in a chair or holding on to something. I can lean against something solid. Swimming is great! But I am broker than a joker thus club memberships are out. However I do have the following equipment.
A sassy attitude ( grin ) stretch band ... don't know what size they are, yoga mat, inflatable ball, 2lb weights and a ballet bar. How does one begin? How does one stay motivated? I wish I had a friend who would work with me and make me accountable. How does one measure success on a daily basis? Is there someone out there that is willing to help an old, obese, crippled woman build routines with music?
