Why buy what you can get for free? You can find all kinds of fitness routines and different exercises on YouTube and other websites. The problem with premade DVDs and programmes is that they are based on a mythical average person and none of use fall into the mythical category. I suggest you read some basic workout books then develop your own programme based on what you can find/

It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I said getting fit was simple, I did not say it was easy.

Cardio burns calories, strength work burns fat.

I am part of the SparkPeople Step Aerobics team and have read some people use YouTube for step workouts. I'm sure you can find lots of others as well.

If you have an Xbox 360 with Kinect in your household you could try Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012. That has running, jump rope, strength routines, cardio and pretty much anything you could think of. There are so many fitness games for Kinect that I don't even bother with a gym.

So I ordered Zumba Exhilarate and the Kettlebell Kickboxing Scorcher series and I am impressed. I was sweating and feeling good, and like I burned a lot of calories. Any spinning, jump rope, kickboxing, or step dvds anyone would recommend? Also wondering if I can find a cheap or reduced price spinning bike or pair of snowshoes?
