The Yoga Journal Magazine website has loads of excellent info including youtube and podcast videos of free yoga classes organized by ability level.

I second that advice to explore the DVD section at the public library as well.

There are some yoga dvd's at WalMart (probably even at Target or a sports store like Academy Sports and Outdoors) and I think that some would be good for beginners.

If you don't want to spend money, try the dvd section at the library. I'm sure that there are some yoga video's on this site as well as on youtube that would be beneficial.

I really need to get my flexibility back. I'd like to do yoga and want to know what yoga dvd's are good for heavy set people who want to become more flexible while trying to lose weight.
Thanks
