I have a treadmill too and I love it. I usually don't run much on it because I'd rather run outside. But, I have some great interval workouts when I use the treadmill for intense walking and then incorporate strength training.

I do intervals and I am working too hard to be bored.

I watch TV when I'm on the treadmill. I've also done intervals to help relieve the boredom.

yes, one of the downsides of the treadmill is the lack of change in scenery to keep the mind engaged.

One option might be to increase the intensity by pushing the incline way up, and making it more challenging. 5% incline is roughly 50% more intense than walking on the flat, 10% incline is roughly double as intense as walking on the flat, and 15% is 150% more challenging.

With intense exercise, you can get a great workout in as little as 10 minutes. And a more intense workout is likely to be less boring.

There is a treadmill in my house, but I never use it. I get bored in like 3 minutes and after like 5 minutes I am really forcing myself to continue. By 8 minutes I am bargaining with myself, saying things like just one mile. I do listen to music while I use the treadmill, but I still get bored.
I usually end up doing other things, because the treadmill is just boring to me. Is there a way to make the treadmill less boring to me, or should I stick to other forms of cardio?
