That would make sense. Weight loss involves some muscle loss, even with strength training. When you start eating enough to avoid a calorie deficit, your muscles will have what they need to respond to the strength training by getting a little larger. That's a good thing--muscles burn lots of calories when you use them, and this will make it easier to avoid regaining fat.

I noticed when I increase my calories from 1,800 to 2,100 my bicepts have grown larger. Mind you this is with continual weight lifting and exercising every day. This is my first time trying to maintain though. I have been overweight all my live since I can remember, until now.
