Googled lap swim and found a lap was one way down the pool. Excited cuz that meant first night in pool after ten years+ I swam 36 laps!! Then 40 the second night. Nope the life guard told me it was down and back , so I went down to 18 & 20. I know, it was the same just sounded better. Met w/a physical trainer for a free consult. She put me through a series of tasks to determine my strength, endurance, flexibility, etc. turned out it was nothing more than a gimmick to sell me sessions. She told me nothing I didn't already know. I need to build strength. My endurance and flexibility are good. If she would have shown me some target exercises to get me started, I may have considered getting a few sessions down the road. But I may as well just ask someone in the gym for tips cuz she was totally useless. Well, no she did show me how to use one machine, that I asked about. Ugh.
