I posted this on the 13.1 Sparkteam page, but I don't know that it gets a whole lot of traffic, so I am posting here as well, because I'd love your feedback!
Two Springs ago, I did my first half marathon. Last Spring, I did my second. I've decided now that I'd like to do at least one half every year. For 2014, I committed to a half with a friend at the end of April. Shortly after, my boyfriend said he wanted to do one together that is at the beginning of March, before knowing about the first that I had committed to. They are six weeks apart, so I feel I could reasonably do them both. I have been running consistently, so I keep my endurance year-round to not be starting from scratch for training. I have also lost 35 pounds and gotten in significantly better shape since those first two, so I expect to do them with a little more ease. I expect to do the first one in March a little more leisurely, so I thought about using it as more of a training run for the second half in April, as opposed to running them both hard. What do you runners out there think? Is it reasonable?
