for Leslie walking, Jenny Ford, Jessica Smith , you don't really need a big space

same thing for me I have just small area to workout in , between the cough and the tv
very small space
but I make it work for me

there are some workout they called as hotel workouts no need for a space or equipment you can repeat that set as much as you want

1 min : marching in place
1 min : light jogging
1 min : high knee
1 min : kick up (kick back wile running in the same place)
1 min : jumping jack
1 min : squat ( wild , prisoners , hold, raise calf) you can mix it
1 min : skipping
1 min : push up
1 min : blank
1 min : rope jump
1 min : clamping
1 min : shuffling
1 min : kickboxing (jab , hock , cross, uppercut , while shuffling and moving)
1 min : copra and superman (for stretching)

----
for the basic St , you just need where u stand
with your dumbbells you can curl up , row back , shoulders, etc.

Good old walking or marching in place doesn't take up much space and as others have said there are chair workout videos that usually don't take up a lot of space either. Try searching for limited mobility videos to give you some ideas.

I also do some chair exercise since move my arms so much find can get a quite great workout

A mini-trampoline (sometimes called a "rebounder") is a good option. You can get versions that when not in use fold in half or in quarters so they can go under a bed or behind a door. You can use it to jog or walk in place or bounce up and down, both of them good exercises that don't hurt your knees. Just be sure to spend the money to get a good sturdy one. Some of those cheapies are nothing but a visit to the orthopedic surgeon waiting to happen. My half-fold Reboundair was about $229 five years ago; I see on amazon it's gone up to over $300. Knowing what I do now, I'd spend the $300+ to replace it.

I don't even have enough room to spin a hoola-hoop. I literally have about 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 space! I have an app called Nexercise that keeps track of how much activity I do during the day and, because I work from home in a teeny little room, and can't afford to go to a gym, AND the neighborhood around here is sketchy so a casual walk is out, what I do is turn on the tv or radio and monitor what I do via Nexercise and either walk/jog in place, jump up and down, lift my knees up, kick my heels to my butt or anything else like this while moving my arms up and down. I can seriously exercise in a box because I live in one! I have no room for weights so I have easy to store bands. I do push-ups off of the edge of the bathroom sink and I do sit-ups and "planks" in my bed. There's always a way to stay fit, people! There's always a way! :-) Good luck and stay strong!

When my shoulders are hurt and my knees give out, I hula hoop to music. When I first started I worried that I would break something (computer, dishes, tv etc.) because I do have a VERY tiny space, but I found that as long as I don't try throwing the hoop into the air, all I need is a small space. I can twirl and do dance steps. I came very close to breaking my laptop when I did an unsuccessful throw this morning. Lesson learned.

If you go to this site you will find a variety or resistance band exercises done by Mike Roulston a personal trainer in Vancouver. https://www.youtube.com/user/modeathletics
If you note he is doing a lot of the workouts in his high rise apartment being supervised by his cat. Good workouts and very effective ones done in a very limited space.


It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I have a small living room space that I can do anything in. So I do push ups, crunches, and dumbbell. Also, since I have watched Leslie Sansone for years I just turn on a movie that I like or a tv show and walk in place while watching the movie. I end up doing the Leslie Sansone moves while I am doing that.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Calisthenics, the kind you see on the 'army shows' they take up the span of your arms, provide a great work out, are completely portable, & cheep. My favorite fall back when I just can't _____.

Yoga: falsely people believe it trains only flexibility, but the truth is anyone can do it, just don't expect what I call "yoga porn" results, and I recommend not trying to twist yourself up until you are confident with good/safe form anyhow. Done in a constant flow is great for cardio, held poses are great for strength and/or flexibility depending on the pose. Space required is the space of a yoga mat and maybe a little extra arm room. Hope this helps you in your small space!

I exercise in a small space about 5 X 5 and do all I need. I do have an elliptical that takes up a lot of the room I use. I use dumbbells, resistance bands and my stability ball. You can also work out on your bed if neccesary, bathtub or use the stairs if you live in a highrise. Just go up and down them for whatever time you can tolerate. There are exercie videos just sitting in a chair which I hope you have. Resistance bands can be used in hardly any space.

I don't have any video recs, but you can do push-ups, sit-ups, squats, etc. in a small space! Resistance bands are great, too; shut them in a door and all you need is enough room to move an arm or a leg.

Sometimes I hula-hoop on top of my bed. A little harder, but there's space :P

Jumping rope would be great... walking outside... even just jumping jacks!

Hey guys. I can't afford a gym, but my apartment is preeeetty small and I don't have a lot of room to work out. Any workout videos you can recommend that don't need lots of space? I literally have a tiny rectangle of space in my bedroom to work out in, haha.
