I used to work out with a friend who was a personal trainer, and she used to joke that if you DIDN'T pass gas, you weren't working hard enough :) Seriously, though, it happens. Probably a lot more than you think.
OK--this is a bizarre question, but I'd like to hear your comments. I have a great Pilates instructor, and I'm in a small class (4). Once in a while, gas that I never knew was lurking in my system decides to flee from my body during work outs. I want to dissolve through the floor with embarrassment, so I just try to ignore it. Has anyone else ever had this experience? Advice about how to handle it? Right now, I am eating a bland, sugar-free diet and gobbling gas preventatives for 4 days prior to my weekly class. Thanks for not laughing hysterically at this problem (I suspect it may be more common than I think--or maybe that's just what I'm hoping )
