Any phone will run it. I have an Android but I believe they have it for iPhone too.

emoticon I have never heard of Noom Walk. What kind of phone do you have?

Seeing how close you are to the next size down is a great motivator. Also, put on an article of clothing that you wore when you first started your weight loss journey and that will help you see how far you have come!

Noom Walk on my phone. No gps required and doesn't use up your battery at all.

I'm also using an omron. Very accurate.

My Sparkpage is set to private, but I'm open to SparkMail!

DH and I each have one of the WiiU trackers (designed for use with Wii Fit U). It's pretty awesome, and I love the digital read outs and graphs that outline what kind of activity and elevation we worked at. It's cool. LOL

I use the Omron HJ-112, you can buy it at amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/Omron-HJ-112-Digital-Pocket-Pedometer/dp/B0000U1OCI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1383654719&sr=8-2&keywords=omron+pedometer

It has done wonders for me. It does not use the spring mechanism to count the steps so it gives a lot less fake steps than the cheap peds do. You can adjust for step stride (google search to measure yours -- usually for an average woman, it's 24-inch, but there are lots of ways to measure your stride more accurately).

I bought it in Aug 2011 and it's still going strong. I only had to change the battery twice since then. Good luck.
