Thank you for your help!
I have not had the opportunity to run in the morning all Fall. I work M-F, Saturdays have been high school cross country meets, and Sundays have been church. I have done the distance (and more) and have decided at this point that I don't want to eat anything while I'm moving. That may change as I get faster and the runs get harder/longer, but for now I'm good at this distance without any extra food.
I probably should have prepared more, but when this chance to challenge myself and put myself way outside my box came up, I didn't want to let it slip away. Overall, I don't care about how well I do. This can be a baseline to see where I'm starting from. I'd rather not throw up all over the road, though. :-)
