What method are you using to measure your body water percentage?

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. You will retain water if you are not getting enough especially when working out.

It might be your muscles retaining water since you've started strength training. And of course if you consume a lot of sodium, that could be a contributing factor to retaining water. But if it's a genuine concern that your health could be at risk, schedule a check up with your doctor.

Hello all you fellow sparkers,
How are you feeling today?
Hope the team rocks, woohoo!
Anyway, here's my problem: whenever i have my body water percentage measured, it always seems to be quite low. i don't know, maybe i need to drink more water, though i already have my 8 a day most of the time. Today the lady who measured me told me that the percentage is low because i retain water.
i started strength training again a couple of days ago and i remember that the last time i started strength training, i also retained water (though i didn't check my body percentage then).
i'm trying not to panic, because in my head all that i think is "diabetes. hypertension. bad stuff."
what do you think? this could mean that my health is at risk?
