The benefits I get from regular exercise is my stride is getting longer, even though I wear a leg brace. My breathing is better. Overall feeling better. It does get exciting when you go to your doctor appointments and they reduce some of the medications. That makes regular exercise so much more motivating.

I can go up and down a flight of stairs now more than 25 times without being out of breath!
I can cinch the seatbelt on a plane with extra "tail" to spare!
I can heft my luggage into and out of my car and into airplane overhead much more easily (and I do this at least twice a week).
I need less sleep and, when I do sleep at night, I sleep more soundly. emoticon
I could go on but...suffice to say my life is better all around.

Walking every day before I go to work has been a great habit to develop! For the first time in ten years, my back doesn't hurt! Walking has absolutely cured my bad back. My digestion is better too. I can't say that I'm losing weight from walking 5-6 miles a day, but I've gone down two pants sizes, so I guess it's having an effect!

I am able to sleep better at night and I feel better when I exercise. I feel bad when I don't exercise so that helps me to stay motivated.

I have suffered from depression for many years. Knowing that walking will ALWAYS put me in a good mood keeps me motivated. Walking quiets the negative voices in my head and I have new ideas, dreams, and goals. I walk in the morning to start my day and I always need that extra time to walk in the evening.
I am just walking but I can tell my legs are more toned and I am more flexible.

Whether I think I can or I think I can't, I am right.

I always feel better about myself for feeling productive, it can give me an extra boost of exercise, and I notice a huge decrease in my anxiety symptoms when I regularly exercise.

I love the energy that I have after exercising.
I crave exercising and enjoy working out.
I have a clearer peace of mind during and afterward.
I love seeing the positive changes in my body.
Increase of endurance each week.
Getting off medications.

I was once 243#. I have lost 50# so far, and am still working toward my final weight goal. In the 6 1/2 months that I've been exercising regularly, I've seen these benefits:

--my mood has improved drastically.
--I can move my body more freely.
--my blood pressure has decreased.
--my thyroid medication has been decreased.
--3 other medications have been stopped altogether
--I'm meeting new people and making friends.

my blood pressure which was high has been around 90 over 70. Exercise also brings my blood sugars closer to normal, or normal. I have more energy and sleep better as well.

I sleep better, I'm in a better mood, more energized, and it's easier to watch what I eat because I want the energy to work out successfully. Also I haven't had ANY menopausal symptoms (knock on wood!) such as weight gain, bad mood, night sweats, etc.

My clothes fit better, I can wear the "cute stuff" - don't have to worry about whether a certain item of clothing will hide this or that.

Overall I feel much better about myself.

I usually start my day with 15 mins. of cardio. This morning because of other things I was unable to do my cardio,. I have been drained all day. Makes it clearer to me, that I am energized by
exercising.

It sets the tone for my day. My walking stride is getting longer. I walk outdoors so I enjoy the wildlife along my route. The sands shift within my body as it adjusts to the walks.

GOAL: Reduce A1C,BP,tryglicerides,and weight. HOW? By not eating added sugar, using Omega3s, base meals on veggies, water aerobics at least 3X week and using NuStep when I can't get to the pool.

Feeling of accomplishment in knowing that I'm now doing things I could only dream about a few years ago like jogging, hiking and doing Zumba classes full out regularly. Joy is what I keep describing as the feeling after a Zumba class in which I've pushed myself. My sleep has improved drastically. I'm positive I had undiagnosed sleep apnea and snored terribly. Apparently now I rarely snore, simply can't sleep in anymore and feel like my sleep is so much more restful than it's been since I was a child. Not to mention 121 pounds lost. :-)

Regular exercise gets my heartrate up. I suffer from bradycardia and have for a few years. I'm trying a new strategy, walking every two hours for five minutes at work keeps me awake!!

Easier to walk, less stiffness in my lower legs and less pain. So regular exercise is a must for me!

I sleep like a baby and can even get less than 8 hours and still feel fully awake and functional all day. Must be better sleep. I also see a dramatic improvement in my depression symptoms.
